Growth Cycle of Bodily Hair?

Have had one treatment on my arms/hands.......intend to start on my face soon........the Salon recommend I attend every four weeks....but I believe that the growth cycle of hair would render this pointless? as the same hair would be in growth cycle .....Any elaboration welcome
