trans | (no subject)

I've started coming out to my extended family recently. I've had some mixed responses, but generally it sounds like they at least want to try to be supportive. I have not been in contact with most of them for a long time, especially due to several members of my immediate family who have been extremely unsupportive, so being connected with these relatives at all feels huge and wonderful and a little scary.

In particular, my aunt and I had agreed that she would talk to each of her 3 kids (who are 20, 16, and 11) about my gender change and encourage each of them to email or call me. I had already heard from my middle cousin, and yesterday I got the sweetest email from my aunt. When she started to tell my youngest cousin, she tells me, my cousin interrupted her and said "Oh, whatever, Mom. I already know all about that. I saw it on the Discovery channel!" and that of course she wants to be in contact with me.

I'm really excited because I have never had the chance to get to know this cousin at all because she's so much younger and I had kinda disappeared before she was old enough to get to know me.

I'm wondering, though, does anybody know about this Discovery channel program and where I might be able to watch it online? I don't have TV, so I haven't seen it or heard about it before, and usually I wouldn't go out of my way to watch things that they show on TV about transgender people because usually they just make me angry. But I really want to know what show it is that my little cousin saw!
