Being Trans/Genderqueer Online

Hi All,

I'm doing a presentation for my Queer Theory class about Trans and Genderqueer youth community on the Internet. I'd really love to have some quotes from actual kids about the role that online community plays in their life, and how its helped them with or affected their self-image, self-confidence, sexuality, gender identity, etc.

If anyone has a free moment, would you mind just leaving me a comment here about what being able to find sexuality and gender related information and talk to other Trans, Queer, and/or Genderqueer people online means to you? Or if you're older than about 30, what it meant to you when you were younger - or maybe how your life was different because you didn't have that resource?

I'd really appreciate anyone's help, and of course I'll keep everyone's names and journals confidential if I quote you in the presentation.

Thankyou so much! :)

[I'm crossposting this to a couple of communities, so sorry if you got it twice.]
