Job Opening
Youth Services Director
Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning youth advocacy & empowerment organization seeks MSW to work with GLBTQ youth, 22 & younger. Must have demonstrated experience in program development, youth-driven decision-making models, and staff/volunteer management. Ability to work on a team and individually is paramount. Will oversee individual and group intervention programs, advocate in community settings, ensure safety and inclusion in all programming, recruit and train adult advisor volunteers, coordinate college intern program and supervise staff and volunteers. Ability to work non-traditional hours, some public speaking and reliable transportation are required. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible and possess strong communication and organizational skills. Experience with grant writing/reporting and knowledge of GLBTQ youth community is needed.
