I have a bit of a favor to ask...
Earlier, I came across Wikipedia articles for Brandon Teena and Tyra Hunter. Unfortunately, and despite Wikipedia being the definitive encyclopedia, their articles are little more than short 'stubs' which explain how they died, but contain little information about how they lived. They also omit certain details, such as how Brandon never actually called himself "Brandon Teena", but that the last name Teena was tacked on posthumously as a convention of convenience.
Brandon and Tyra deserve better, similar to the article for Gwen Araujo. However, I don't think I'm qualified to give their articles the treatment that their memories deserve, since I'm not very good at writing with an unbiased tone, or at gathering solid facts and evidence to back my writing.
Would anyone be willing to help expand their articles?
