A couple of medical questions
I've got a couple of niggling things that I wanted to ask about, and see whether anyone can shed lihgt on whether what's happening is normal, or if I should be worried.
1) My legs ache a lot. I'm putting it down to the combination of the huge amount of walking I now find myself doing, coupled with HRT affecting the muscles. It's not sharp pain or mechanical pain, just a dull ache after walking. I can go about ten minutes walking before it kicks in, and after 30 minutes I really have to stop to rest. Whilst I never used to walk this much on a daily basis, I never got achy muscles when I did do huge distances in a day. My Doctor thinks it is very unlikely to be DVT, and told me to try Ibuprofen.
2) I'm having trouble peeing. It feels restricted when I try and pee, as if the hole has got smaller. Actually, when I took a good look down there I discovered that everything has got smaller. I'm not complaining, but is this normal? It doesn't hurt when I pee in the slightest, but it just feels like the uretha is smaller. My Doctor took a urine sample to check for any infection problems, but given there is no pain that is more a precaution than anything else. Has anyone else found that their genitals got substantially smaller on HRT?
