trans | New Community and Support Website

Hello.

I'm hoping this isn't out of line for here (I checked the bio and didn't see a 'no advertising trans sites' message) but if it is, I'll apologise now. Basically, I'm here to tell everyone that there's a new community resource and support forum available online, called T-Vox (which some of you may have heard about already, since I recognise some people in here from my flist but hey, you get the news twice and at no extra cost!).

The site is designed to be a safe haven for discussion of issues about or in reference to transsexuals, intersexed people, genderqueer/gender variant people, people questioning their gender identity and their friends & family. There's a possibility of students and/or professionals from the fields of gender identity disorder and trans/queer/gender theory turning up, but it's not likely.

The site's at www.t-vox.org and it's just starting up so while there's not much but a forum there at the moment, we're hoping to expand fast.
