Apology
Back from bad food.
Looking back on my earlier rant, I can sort of see where some people who don't know me might get the impression that I am little more than a perpetually angry college kid with nothing better to do than rant and incite knee-jerk reactions in people who would otherwise support me.
I honestly don't think it's that simple, but I can really see how the assumption can be made. Sorry for any misunderstandings on my part, I'm a bit of a hothead; it's always been in my nature, on this issue and on pretty much anything else. The substance of what I wrote still stands, but my procedure was not the best, that's for sure (such is the nature of a rant, I suppose). In posting a rant like the one I did, I never entertained the idea of seeking allies, or of alienating them either.
I havea tendency to use ad homs too, when I get really upset. If I did (I'm too lazy to look), I'm sorry. I didn't mean to really alienate anyone, and I'm sorry if I had that effect. I do believe that my points were, and are, valid, although I probably didn't choose the best means of trying to assert them.
