Open mic for poets/spoken wordsters/literary geeks/journal writers/queers/transgender/gender queers
Feature: Agent 409
The members of Agent 409 gather each week in the kitchen, the bathroom, the board room, the subway—anywhere the dust of imperialism settles—to write poetry, prose, diatribes, and comedy routines for the revolution. We are an unruly, multi-racial cleaning brigade of queers and trannies who are anti-everything that is oppressive and wrong in this world and pro-everything that is liberating and good.
Our comrades attest, "Agent 409 is my top choice for life’s daily messes. When I need a tough abrasive that scours racism, wipes away the grit of capitalism and patriarchy and penetrates those hard-to-reach transphobic corners, I reach for the trusty revolutionary writers of Agent 409.
