"Barbie’s Web Site Promotes Gender Confusion"
The Concerned Women for America have their panties in a bunch over the Barbie website: http://www.cwfa.org/articles/9788/CWA/misc/
Matel has a survey for Barbie users in which it asks about gender. The options are "boy" "girl" and "I don't know." The CWA is upset because this is promoting FTM transsexuality. I'm going to go out an a limb here, though, and say that I suspect that most children surfing the Barbie site who "don't know" are NOT ftm, but more likely coming from the opposite direction.
The audio "news" report on the Mattel "scandal" is really funny, but has at least one factual error. The age range for Barbie fans ranges from 4 - 70+, not 4 - 8.
