Coming Out
Some thoughts about coming out, cross-posted and cut...
Over the past couple of weeks, I've started coming out to some people, and the response has been pretty positive. But now I'm wondering something...
I know a fairly large amount of people, and I wonder if I need to tell them anything. While my close friends and family may need to know, who else matters? There are some people who I've known for a while who I want to tell, but many others (even though I see them regularly) who I'm now thinking I won't tell. Maybe just let 'em guess, and if they question, then fine.
When you're in a large group, who do you tell? Do you ever tell someone, then wonder "Why the heck did I even bother"? Who cares if they know, if the people that matter most do?
Or (as usual) am I just over thinking this?
