trans | I wish I had parents like that

Today I went to visit my sister at the hospital with my brother. After the visit, we walked back to my brother's car when two guys got in our way and starting hassling me for being trans. They of course called me a faggot and said I wasn't human(I can't freaking tell you how many times I've been told this). A woman who had just gotten out of her car ran towards us and told them to leave us alone. After the two guys left, this woman told me her son is FTM and it was after he was confronted by bigots for it that she accepted him as her son. How lucky is he to have a supportive mother. I wish my parents were that supportive.
