trans | (no subject)

I want to get an orchiectomy within the next few months, but I'm really not sure to start. I'm having trouble finding "how-to" resources on the steps I'll need to take as a trans woman; just a lot of things telling me how I would do it if I have testicular cancer and therefore doctors who won't be so reluctant to do it so that I'll need to do a lot of running around to a lot of different people asking for permission slips or things debating whether or not orchiectomies are a good choice for trans women but not actually saying how to go about getting one.

Halp me Dr. LJ!

Also, I'm in the Albany, NY area, so any information about resources within like a 100-mile radius of here would be greatly appreciated.
