Online dating sites...

Over the last month or two, I've been debating about subscribing to a some dating sites. I know, [eyes rolling], it might be lame and desperate, but I'm really trying to move forward. I'm curious to know what dating sites others have tried, and which are worth paying for that are trans-inclusive.

I have tried using some free dating sites, OkCupid and JustSayHi, but no results.

I did contact eHarmony some time ago about how they handles trans-people. I was formerly told in an email that I could not use their site until I had completed my transition; so I'm assuming that is their policy is no one who doesn't conform to the normal gender binary. (Doesn't make much sense to me though, and I think it excludes many in the trans-spectrum).

I myself am somewhat hesitant of subscription dating sites, and even free ones at that. But I feel it's time to start trying things that I haven't tried in order to get out more and meet new people.

Even if the sites are trans-inclusive, meaning allow trans-individuals, how do they handle the sexual orientation part? It's discouraging to see sites like eHarmony only catering to the normal gender binary heterosexuals. Which sites are trans-inclusive?

Also, has anyone actually had "success" of finding someone on one other of these paid sites? (And by success I don't mean one time hook-ups; I mean corresponding with someone, going out, and maintaining a relationship).
