trans | A few questions about hormones...

I know that all MTF should most definitely be on hormones... I am hoping to start on them very soon and am just wondering all the varying side effects you ladies may be having (just so I don't freak over nothing)

Also, what is a good average estimate to how long breasts will begin to develop? Some have told me a couple months, others are saying a year or more... Does it vary that much?

EDIT: Sorry I worded that first line wrong... It should have simply said: "I know that most MtF should be on hormones..." I didn't mean to imply anything more than that, just that most doctors and sexual therapists do highly recommend them, and therefore saying that you "should" be on them does not mean that you "have" to take them. It is ultimately you own choice and IMO, for ME, I think it is the way to go... after all, if I don't obtain my C-cup via hormones, I can have them augmented later if I really really want them then...
