Disturbing Dream Journal
Apr. 18th, 2007 12:13 pmOooohmagawd, damn, oh.... DAMN.
Okay, I have a question for anyone who has been on a feminizing regimen of hormones, or any women who have had them prescribed for any reason (or any trans-guys who had then prescribed when "living as women," which is unlikely, because they are usually only prescribed for post-menopausal women.)
Has anyone had or heard of the experience of having extremely graphic disturbing dreams induced by Progesterone use? Because... DAMN. I just woke up out of a really nasty scary one. The dreams have been building in intensity over this week, and I'm worried they'll get worse.
The other element is Marijauna. I use it in my spiritual/ritual practice (in a way that has not really influenced my function and cognition during the day before hand, as I only use it at night before I go to bed.) I think that the combination of Estrogen, Anti-Androgens, Progesterone, THC, stress and my apartments mold problem (we're moving out soon) may all be contributing to a sub-halucinogenic experience, most prominent during and after sleep. Anyone else have weird experiences with the Hormone/THC combo? Guys, tell me about T and THC, if its relevant, because I date a trans-guy who does this with me, and I want to be ready to advise him is something weird like this happens to him.
(For the dream, and a quick bit of info about how it relates to my spiritual practice, see my journal. Otherwise, this is more of a medical question.)
