transfeminism.
The general premise of our upcoming work is to take a critical look at contemporary feminist practice, specifically addressing the issue of Trans inclusion in the 'movement'. We seek to continue pushing the boundaries of feminist thought, to stop questioning whether or not Trans women are in fact women, but rather to place Trans women at the core of feminist thought/movement/practice. We want to speak with folks who practice feminist beliefs, those who have lived through the many changes feminism has seen, those who may or may not support Trans inclusion, organisations who have made Transfolks central to their (feminist) mission.
Additionally, we feel it to be extremely important to bring on a third director for the project. For this we are looking for someone who identifies on the Trans woman/female/feminine spectrum and feels invested in the issues we seek to bring light to in the film. Thanks and please email us:
