[identity profile] pandagenma.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] trans
A girlfriend of mine recently told me about a girlfriend of hers (mtf) who had been on hormones for three years, stopped taking hormones for a couple months, and then was able to have a child (I assume with the help of a fertility doctor). I know I have seen at least one post on here before from another pre/non-op mtf that had succeeded in getting her cisgendered partner pregnant after being on HRT for a while.

My question: how many mtf's here have been able to reproduce post-hrt without sperm banking? If you have, how did you do it? Were there birth defects or complications?

I never ever thought I would want children pre-hrt, and then about a year in maternal instinct kicked in. Damned biological clock.
