I've been looking for a GP in my area since I moved here. I've spoken with friends, and even checked the College of Physicians of Ontario website to see who is accepting patients around here. Turns out there isn't a single doctor in London that is accepting patients and will return my calls. I spoke with a friend of mine who also happens to be a doctor and she advised me I may be better off starting with a therapist and moving from there instead. I have some coverage under my benefits from work, and I think this might be the best plan until I start school in September and have access to the medical staff there (UWO has a huge medical campus). Can anyone recommend any trans- or queer-friendly therapists in the London area? Or even any organizations that could possibly refer me to one? I'm willing to do the legwork if it means I'll get to where I need to be.
