As a girl carefully traced my body
Onto cement
With white chalk
Looked up at the sky
Felt cool still air on my face
In my lungs
Lungs of a trans-person
Of a possible future victim
Future statistic
Frightning
Sad
Crying silently
So they wouldn't know
How deeply it touched me
for the
