So I'm still some time away from the front of any waiting list that might be able to help me out with body hair and so I remain reliant on Gillette for clearance. I am very prone to shaving rash and never fail to get acne wherever clothing etc rubs shaved skin - belt lines, underwear lines, rucksack straps, neckline from cycling helmet. It pretty much makes regular shaving a no-no - so I can't wear anything that doesn't cover my midriff or shoulders more than once a week, tops (hell, I can't wear makeup more than once every few days after my face has recovered). I can apply Savlon cream, Aloe gel, moisturisers etc and the usual result is the moisture just makes the shaving rash turn into something akin to nappy rash. I've tried shaving with and against the direction of growth, different closeness of shave but same rash either way. Any suggestions? (Waxing is a BAD idea - I just get the rash instantly, and electro/laser is way over budget.)
