Oct. 9th, 2009 01:42 amHave you ever worried that a friend in the trans community was going to kill themselves? Do you want to help, but don't know what to say or do?
These two brochures are the first of their kind. One brochure is for community members, and the other one is for professionals who work with transfolk. Please distribute the link widely.

A small committee of community members and allies put these together with the MA Dept of Public Health (which funded the project): MA Transgender Political Coalition; Fenway Community Health; Samaritans; and the Mass. Coalition for Suicide Prevention. The MA Dept of Public Health has identified suicide of transpeople as a priority.
