I am just wondering if anyone else can share experiences with tracheal shaves. I just got the procedure done a bit over a week ago and my voice has sounded terrible ever since. I had a great girls voice and now I can only only speak in a slightly lower version of my guys voice and have absolutely no ability to raise the pitch. That is really frustrating. I talked to the surgeons office but they just said just wait and see, I am not sure if that is an actual answer or is it them just giving me a bit of the brush off as they would not give me a real answer on how long it takes on average to recover, they just said everyone is different.

So I was just wondering what other people's experiences are getting their voices back, how long does it usually take? And did your voice change from the surgery at all? And just because I tend to freak out is this a complication of the surgery? I know it is still early though so I am not really freaking out.
