Starting things up

Hey! I've never posted here before, but since I found this community a while ago, it's been a really big help in answering most of my questions and helping me work through things. So! I'm Charlie (FTM, pre-T and, well, just about everything else). I've got a few questions that I couldn't find answers to, and was hoping people 'round here might be able to help me.

First off, I've been a Type 1 Juvenile Diabetic since I was a year and a half old. Because of that, I already see an endocrinologist every three to six months for diabetes-related things. I haven't come out to him yet, but is he someone I could ask about prescribing/injecting T? I somehow doubt it, but I figured it's worth posing the question. (I know I'll have to talk to him about it eventually, especially since I don't know how the T would affect my diabetes.)

Second, I go to school in Philadelphia and I was looking for a transitioning counselor to talk to down there. A friend of mine suggested Dane Menkin of the Mazzoni Center (GLMA page here), but I was wondering if anyone had either seen him or could suggest another person for me?
