Ok, so I've been spamming all over the net about raising money. So far, I've gotten mostly supportive messages. I noticed that these came from others who had the courage to do what i'm doing, or who aren't trans-whatever and just want to say "wow, you have balls". Haven't gotten a single homo/transphobic message sent to me, which makes me feel good. I have, though, been having problems on a couple of message boards and newsgroups. Two of them are TG fiction sites and the other is on a tg support newsgroup. On the TG fiction site, I was immediately branded a fraud. I could understand that, my friend Mike thought it was a publicity stunt. So I decided to update my page a bit, and put some pictures up and maybe tell my story, just to let people know that I was sincere and am not trying to bilk anyone. Makes sense, right? Then I get a lecture about postponing. This doesn't make sense to me at all. Postpone so I can change my Medicare card and play Bingo with other blue haired old ladies? No thank you. Plus, the way I've been feeling lately, I wouldn't last that long. Coming out and starting transition has changed my outlook on life and given me something to look forward to. Sure, it's hard being apart from Bethaney, but it was harder living a lie.

So to the naysayers, I say if you don't want to buy anything, fine. If you don't agree with what I'm doing, kiss my ass.
