So things have changed dramatically, I'll be finishing Medical school in a few months, and looking to head to Ohio back to a big family with open arms. I'll be leaving, in my experience one of the most accepting and fruitful environments in Seattle, Washington for a transgendered individual. I'll be moving to one of the arguably most conservative states in the country; or so I see it as I grew up in the area.

I am worried beyond belief. In an effort to ensure I won't be denied any care or legal rights, nor any form of reversal of transition I'm cleaning up my legal name change, and gender marker, for both my state license and Social Security. Birth certificate will be the only thing that's won't have a gender marker change. To prevent denial by any physician for either surgery or HRT, I am accelerating my surgery dates and getting an Orchiectomy, along with documentation from my therapist and current doctor; in hopes that any self-respecting doctor will be unable to deny me HRT. I'll see if I can get FFS but it seems too major of work to quickly to be done.

I know I'm possibly over acting, but as I transition I spent an awful lot of time reading stories of other trans dealing with a conservative medical field, and legal system.

Research into trans-specific support in the surrounding area of Akron hasn't been much of a boon to my opinion of how things may play out.

Anyone have extra steps I need to take, support available, or even just want to call me crazy for over reacting, please reply.
