I just thought about this while writing my friend an email and talking about Vagina Monologues: The only real problem I had with it (which is actually a pretty big problem when I think about it.. PEOPLE TOO OFTEN FORGET/DON'T KNOW/DENY THAT FEMINISM AND TRANSGENDERISM ARE INTERRELATED!!) was that it was kinda transphobic, because HAVING A VAGINA DOESN'T MAKE YOU A WOMAN, AND NOT HAVING ONE DOESN'T MAKE YOU A MAN, and I think that needed to definitely be pointed out.

yeah, i know it was a rather obvious thing, but i'd been too like "wow, that was SO COOL!" to really write about it last night, i guess. bleh.

Someone should definitely do a play called Transgender Monologues or something. I'd definitely go see it!!

Vanessa Tiegs - Menstrual Paintings Collection

I think that is one of THE coolest things I have seen in a long, long time!!! I wish I were better at painting, that'd be cool to do. I think when I get my rag I will try doing a painting with the blood to see how it turns out.

It really, really saddens me that there's such a stigma around menstruation, that women and others who get their period are so seemingly conditioned to being disgusted and horrified by it, and by their cunts in general (that is, if they have cunts). I mean, in terms of transguys and other transfolk, I can definitely relate, since I'm a transguy myself... but sometimes it just bugs me that I'm so unhappy with my body a lot of the time. But I know it's often kinda different for transguys and other transfolk, so I hope no one gets offended :-/ and if anyone does, I'm truly sorry.

I think everyone in the world, whether they have a cunt or not, should read the book Cunt by Inga Muscio, and I think the book should be printed in every language there is so that everyone can read it.

I'm NOT trying to say "Everyone should just be happy with the way they are!" because then I would be a complete hypocrite. I know not everyone's going to be happy with the way they are. I'm not happy with the way I am a lot of the time. A lot of the time I don't want a cunt or boobs and don't wanna get my rag, but instead want a cock and a flat boychest and stuff. I just think it sucks that there's such a stigma around menstruation and cunts in general. It's just what happens to people with cunts (most of the time). Some people aren't gonna like it and that's fine, but I think people forget that as far as I know everyone who has a cunt gets their period unless they've gone through menopause or are on hormones or something, so why not just accept that it happens to everyone with a cunt, and know that if you want to change that you can, you don't have to forever hate it because if you don't like it you can take hormones or get your uterus and ovaries removed, but hating it takes up so much time and energy and people end up being unhappy.

I want to start a band, zine or comic (or all three!) called The Box-breakers, and I want them to be full of cool ideas and people whose ideas they are about the fact that not everyone fits into boxes (categories/labels), not everyone wants to, and nobody has to!!! :D I have a feeling this will all take a while, since I've already been procrastinating on my other zines and other DIY stuff :( but would people be interested?? If so, email me at oh_gib_mir_kraft@hotmail.com or IM me on AIM at Ledd Bullet.
