Here is an interesting article. I sent a
Good point about Rene Richards. Thanks.

Mike Fish,
I was suprised in reading your article that there was no mention of Renee
Richards. Her case may shed some light on this issue.
I thank you for treating this issue with care and some understanding. As
a transsexual women, that means a lot to me. I agree that this is a
tricky situation and we really need to think about how this will affect
the sports world. I would hate for this issue to explode around a
particular individual. That would be the ultimate shame. No one should
have to go through that ordeal especially after having made it through
transition.
I have the reiterate Michelle's words "Oh, you raced as a male and
couldn't cut it, so you decided to get a sex change and all this garbage.
That is not the case. Nobody would ever change his or her physical sex,
because it is forever." In addition, no one with that motivation would
most likely make it through this process. The emotional toll would be to
great. (BTW, excellent usage of pronouns through out the article. A lot
of writers slip up when dealing with this).
Again thank you and I hope that the sporting world comes up with solutions
that accomodate all the variations in humans. And that transgendered people
do not end up locked out of competitive athletics.
Thanks,
Crystal
