transHi, my name is Lily, just thought Id introduce myself.
I am pre-op MTF, have been on HRT and FT for 3 years now. I try very hard to distance myself from the whole thing - I cant stand being this way, so I dont usually talk about it.
I was a successful Systems Admin ('puter geek) until the bottom came out of the dot coms. I became unemployed right before I was able to pay for any of the surgery bill. I did get everything else done, including a deposit on the op, and now Im stuck. Anyone got a spare $20K?
Being homeless and jobless, I have been wandering the western US as a hippy, and its been pretty fun. Ill probably do it again this season, unless something big happens. You can read about it in my journal of course. :)
