Keweenaw Peninsula GLBT Group meets every Thursday evening starting at 7:30 pm at the Cyberia Café coffee House in Houghton for a social time, this group includes several TG folk. Feb 21 Sat, 4-11pm, Grand Rapids. Grand Rapids/West Michigan TG Meeting (The reschedule of the Jan. cancellation). WHO? For ALL Transgendered people; CD, TG, TS, SO, and supporters. WHEN? February 21, 2004, 4Pm to 11:00PM. WHERE? The Quality Inn, 4495 28th St. East. ACCOMMODATIONS: We will have a meeting room and a changing room. Since the two rooms cost about $200, we are requesting donations. Arrangements are being made for a meeting place that won't cost so much if we decide to get together on a regular basis. PLEASE come whether or not you can chip in. SCHEDULE: 4-5:30 Meet and Greet one another; 5:30 -7 make-up tips tricks pointers and makeovers for whoever wants one by Mary Kay (Julie reports she has spoken with a wonderful woman who is acceptant, has a great attitude and will bring an associate so whoever wants a make-over can have one); 7-8/8:30 POT LUCK Dinner Please bring a dish to pass to serve 4. Entrée, paper plates, plastic cutlery and beverage provided. 8:30 - 11:00 chat, discuss, visit, share info. 11:00 Leave the motel & Paint the Town for those who wish to. Beginners are always welcome, and all dances are taught. No experience or partner necessary. Great callers and live bands! Any GBT who identifies himself as a man, however he comes dressed, is welcome to attend. New topics are suggested each week, but we are open to change as fits the needs of the group. A weekly, confidential e-mail is sent reminding participants of coming topics, group announcements, and occasional emergency notices.
