Okies, I'm trying to "get the ball rolling" with all these doctor-type people. I've started to see a psychiatrist who I was seeing before but never told anything to (My mom forced me to see him so the extent of our conversations was about the course of my day). He told me that I was.. a "unique" case to him. So he doesn't have much of any experience in the matters. When he first asked me what I wanted to see him about I said "I'm a girl." and he kinda paused for a few seconds. Heh. He is the only psychiatrist in the area who accepts my insurance (Medi-cal) but there was another doctor who specialized in this (gendercounseling.com) who /might/ accept my insurance. I'm also going to see my physician in Coronado today (Since my mom is under the impression that my recent behavior is due to an extreme lack of testosterone in my body... And that's just because I wanted to find a way to get rid of my facial hair for longer periods of time) and I plan to speak with him about it, as well. Oh, and the psychiatrist told me he wouldn't divulge anything of importance to my mom since, well, she's my mom and there would be hell to pay if she heard about any of this.

Any suggestions?
And maybe there's someone or someplace I can go to find out about where I can go in the San Diego area about this? (But I don't drive and neither does my mom, so I take the bus everywhere <.< )
