oh, duh. introduction.
Nov. 5th, 2004 02:59 pmSorry about posting that before introducing myself:
My name is Shix but it's gonna be changed real soon [not legally, unfortunately]. I'm genderqueer and a second-generation queer and I'm very enthusiastic about genital/sexual health and gender/trans issues [also known as smashing the binary...]. I write zines on genital, sexual and reproductive health and run a resource center on the topic that aims to cater specifically to underserved communities [in terms of healthcare], mostly the trans and intersex communities and folks living with chronic illnesses. I like to shake things up but I love to be in communities where I'm not the only one who thinks the things I do. And I'm excited to find such a vast trans community on LJ. ::cheering:: Yeah!
