I'm getting a few problems, almost certainly related to being on HRT, but I don't really know what to do about them. I've put them behind a cut more in acknowledgement of my own modesty than anything else, as quite frankly I hate talking about what I'm about to:

It hurts whenever I get an erection. There - typed it. Not only that, but I get the most splitting headache when I do that feels like a strong ache in my neck that runs up to behind my eyes, and nearly always makes the vision in my left eye go slightly blurred. This lasts for a couple of hours afterwards, and it never happened pre-HRT. Unfortunately I have to undertake this disgusting task in order that when SRS comes round, it hasn't shrunk to nothing because otherwise there won't be much for them to work with - the cruelty of it all.

The other problem is cramps I get, mostly in the backs of my legs and ankles, especially in the mornings. Sometimes I also get them in my belly and abdomen. It just feels like all the muscles go into spasm. I'm guessing it is some kind of mineral or vitamin imbalance, but I'm not sure what I'd have to change in my diet to fix that.

Other than that, things are okay at the moment for a change. Nothing that a month's cruising on the QE2 can't fix :) Any help or advice is much appreciated. Cross-posted to [livejournal.com profile] transgender and [livejournal.com profile] mtf.
