In catching up on some LJ reading since their CSS has been screwing up and not allowing me to read or update my LJ or friends list, I stumbled across the press release and donation set of entries

anne78 had recently made, and was reading on her sites, and stumbled upon the COGIATI test link she has posted. I'd never taken this before. Ever. And I came up with a score of 225. Mind you I know that this is a web-based test and what not, so I took it with a grain of salt. I found the following line very interesting to my situation:

"COGIATI classification FOUR, PROBABLE TRANSSEXUAL
What this means is that the Combined Gender Identity And Transsexuality Inventory has classified your internal gender identity to be essentially feminine, but with some masculine or androgynous traits."

What scares me is that this is how I feel. I've been classifying myself as "both" for quite some time, and since around age 4 I knew something was odd and that being "both a boy and a girl" was what felt right. So did wanting to have babies. Even got into trouble playing pregnant several times as a kid. And jealous about many things feminine and felt it wasn't fair for men to have to be masculine and not have as many clothing options and all that sort of thing. Which I still feel.

Having "self-diagnosed" myself many years ago, it's just so weird to find this test and have it be pretty much accurate. Weird, or introspective?
