i'm disgruntled with the lack of men's footwear in my size. hrt gave me more width but not length. my arches are falling from improper support so i sit here icing my feet, pondering why companies don't make size 6 in men's. boys fit but lack mature design and material.

and it hit me - i work at an apparel company; i did fit and wear testing of footwear before i started transition. i can go to the designers/decision makers and talk with them about a largely untapped market.

i would like to do a little data gathering, however limited, so i have a few numbers to throw at the powers that be.

even if you have a size 7 or larger, please respond so that i have some comparative numbers to give them.

reply with your:
1) shoe size (note if its US, Can, Eur, or whatever measurement - yes, my company sells globally)
2) width (if you know it - again, noting appropriate country)
3) what type of footwear you would most be interested in: running shoes, cross trainers, sandals, slippers, hiking boots, business casual (loafers, lace ups), snow boots, other (specify)

cross-posted (if you reply in one community please do not reply in another). if a moderator would care to change this into an actual poll, that would be fine with me. afaik, free accounts can't create polls.

its all about market potential so the poll can be expanded to cis-gendered men, dykes, bois, queers, non-ftms, anyone that would like men's footwear in small sizes (5.5 or 6 is probably the smallest) - feel free to cut the meat of the question and post it in non-ftm communities (just send me a link so i can gather the replies: email being tman2k4 at excite dot com)
