Questions regarding chronic pain and HRT.
Dec. 6th, 2005 11:33 amSo, about 3 weeks before I started on Spiro (100mg 2x daily), my headaches started. Chronic, constant, dull throbbing headache. Kinda lingering in the background, sometimes flaring up and completely incapacitating me.
Speaking to my boyfriend about this as we're on the way to the pharmacy for round three of "Here, try THIS pill", I'm told that it might be more than syncronous that I started on Spiro about the time the headaches started to really ramp up and get a grip on me.
I'm curious if anyone else out there has been in a similar situation, where chronic pain was or was not affected by HRT.
Right now, for the record, I'm on:
Diclofenac (anti-inflammatory)
Fioricet (muscle relaxant)
Tramadol (pain killer)
Clonazepam (muscle relaxant and sleep aid)
Spironolactone (to address the GID a bit)
Ranitidine (Zantac, for when my stomach's acting freaky from the above meds)
Input on this is greatly welcome.
Thanks!
