transMy mom wrote an article on being the parent of a transperson. I'm very proud of her and wanted to share it all with you. You can check it out here
I'm very happy with how it turned out. I ended up okay-ing the "transgender son" bit, as I figure if that's the only thing wrong with it then it's not that bad. Despite how it looks in the article, she's actually been struggling a lot with and she originally wanted to use male pronouns for me in the article. I'm glad I talked her out of that, and I don't mind being called her son so much as long as she says "She is my son." Anyway, the editors decided to pick that part out for the headline. Nonetheless, I'm pretty proud of my mom at this moment.
