All worlds of problems...

transHi! I'm new here, so I hope it's not too presumptuous to make a post of my woes just yet... but with time glaring at me, I figured I could just beg forgiveness or something and get by. ::begs forgiveness for being presumptuous::
Anywho. A short intro... I'm probably MTF TG. I was on and off hormones for about 7 months before I decided to stick with it and I've been solidly on hormones for about 5 months now. I get them online without any sort of supervision. This is presenting a problem now. For some other reason, my mom wants to get my bloodwork done. I know this is typically something done in this circle to monitor hormones, but I know it's got plenty of other needlely uses, which might help some... By default would they check for hormones? Or would it just be something else? She wants me to get checked because I'm awfully thin soooo... Any idea? Oh, and I'm 18.
So that's my most immediate problem. I've got some others here and there. First of all(of the questions not being the first), hopefully a simple question; Is there anything that can be done regarding the size of the rib cage? Overall, I think I could be worse off with my body/face but my ribcage is like wicked huge. Seriously. I don't weigh much and probably look skeletal, but instead of having my desired smaller topside I'm stuck with this bulbous bone abomination. I've looked into tightlacing some, but I can't find any definitive effects of it. I know it makes it harder to breathe, but at what gain... I'm not sure if it would effect the whole ribcage or just the bottom floaties. So yeah. Anyone have experience with tight lacing pertinant to rib effects? Or any other solutions would be greatly appreciated as well, of course.
Lastly! Well... I'm sort of running short on friends and all. I told the ones I have my special little situation and while it seemed well enough received at the time... a few months later I now look around and I'm lonely and depressed and wondering what the heck happened. So would anyone be my friend :D? I promise I don't do that annoying "..." thing all the time. That was just for effect... or something! IM me on AIM at "Siren of Tam" ;3?
