Health Benefits
May. 1st, 2006 03:30 amI recently found out that my employer allows specific health benefits that could aid me in the long run.
What peaked my interest most was when I looked on the four Types of benefits and saw "progesterone" and "hormone replacement therapy" near the very bottom.
Now this raises the question... are these intended only for natal women or for trans women as well? You would think that disallowing benefits to someone who wanted them, regardless of them being the "opposite gender" would be discrimination.
It says they'll pay from 80% to 100% of my costs for HRT. Is it too good to be true?
Ideas? Comments? Concerns? o.o
