---So how did this all start and how did you end up here?

Had thoughts of being female from four years old on.
Called to guidance counselor after I took my S.A.T. and was told that my scores would be perfectly reasonable if I were a girl.
Physically can't throw like a male (other points of coordination as well)
Liked but never got toys that were in the least bit femme (up to an including a "Spirograph" that my dad felt was inappropriate).
Finally dressed at age 51 and felt comfortable for the first time in my life.
Have to grow hair back for a visit to my mom's (unhappy).
O.C.D. less severe the closer I get to expressing myself as female.

---What is your plan to transition?

Become self-employed or find a position that will cover the endeavor.

---Are you aware that many transsexuals never live a "normal" female life and end up involved with other trans people and in the trans community for the duration of their lives?

I love trans folk. they are bright, centered, witty talented and reasonable. I could do much worse.

---If you pass perfectly in 3 years, will you tell others about your past?

If the situation demands it, yes.

---Why do you want to transition?

See question one.

---What is your sexual orientation and how does your changing your gender effect that?

As a male, I am hetero, but I will likely be bi as female. Partially because I have those tendencies anyway and partially because I believe in using what I have. Seems a shame not to go through all that trouble and not do anything with them.

---What will you do about employment? Do you plan to transition at work?

See question two

---Are out to your friends and family? How are they reacting to your decision?

Most of my friends are taking it well. Of course, some think it will pass,
but that is unlikely. My mom is 84, so out of kindness I refuse to trouble her.

---What is your goal? After you go full-time will you pursue other surgeries?

More then likely.
I want the parallax to merge, and at this time, I feel having as many of the parts as I can get represent an important movement in this direction.

Oddly enough they are good questions.
