transAn interesting episode last night...
I was out for a beer with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
abbyjanechick, trans_mag and claudiacurio, when in comes none other than CBC Ottawa's Alan Neal!
I had picked up the latest copy of CapX at the door to the place, and I went straight over to him, handed him the Flying Trannys article contained within, (more on that later), and told him that this was what he missed, and quickly gave him a blurb on what we had put together last weekend.
He kept the article.
I intend to follow up with another e-mail sometime today.
As for the article, I find it incredulous that CapX, which is supposed to be THE GLBT newspaper in the Ottawa area, claims they did not know about the TCO swing through Ottawa last weekend, even though they were notified by us, when they have this article right there, fresh off the press! What are they doing...cutting and pasting right off the Internet, without any followup for a local angle? Lazy bastards...
