Doctor's appointment this morning to have my feet checked and (wait for it) talk to him about getting my blood pressure meds changed to Spiro.
I LOVE MY DOCTOR!!!!!!!
Yes, he did ask why.
I looked at him and asked if he wanted the real reason or the carefully fabricated line of bull shit I had thought up.
He said I should give him the real reason.
I told him about being transgendered and wanting to start on the road to transitioning.
Then he said:
He has had a number of patients who are also were also TG. He told me I wasn't alone up here, and yes, most of us are stealth.
He also told me he would help me find a therapist and see if he could learn of any support groups.
He took the time to tell me how special I was for coming out at my age and being open-minded enough to accept myself and who I wanted to be.
I LOVE MY DOCTOR!
