Coming out at work...

Deciding how and when to come out at work is not an easy decision, so I decided to test the waters on an individual basis.  I feel like I am a sniper in some remote jungle, picking my targets very selectively.  I selected one woman today that I work with because after studying my target for some time, I felt the moment was right to strike.  Without even the slightest hesitation I spilled my guts...her reaction?  Tears began to well up in her eyes.  She began to tell me how terrible she felt that I kept this bottled up inside for so long.  She showed me nothing but understanding, love and compassion...she is a true friend.  While I have many more people I will be coming out to in the future, I am glad that this experience was so positive.

That is all for now.  At the moment, I am just very excited and still in shock.  I hope I will be able to post more positive experiences in the future.
