the infamous "transgender clause" caught in the act. I can't believe they have the nerve to openly discriminate, in print no less. all I want is equal treatment, you don't see a clause for genetically obese people or people with adhd now do you.

it does exist.

this pisses me off. these people are the scum of the earth and deserve horrible things to happen to them in the most foul ways possible. the only reason this is even in here is because they know they can get away with it.

I(and my company) pay for my insurance just like anybody else, I should have equal coverage just like anybody else. it's just that simple.

I have said before on occasion that although I would like for my surgery to be covered that I do understand the possible negative outcomes of providing surgery. that being said I do not at all agree in any way, shape, or form that it is right, or even moral to deny anyone coverage on this basis. it is discrimination no matter how you phrase it. and even worse is the fact that it gives the insurance company autonomy and complete discretion over what is and what is not related to the trangender clause effectively providing a significant loophole for anyone that wants to deny liability for anything they think even might be related.
