Sorry to anyone who sees this intro in more than one place... I joined four similiar-but-not-identical communities tonight, so I hope no one's in all four and gets sick of me, as I'll be posting the same intro in all of them. (What?! They're awkward to write!)

The name's Kieryn (although if anyone's around that I haven't noticed, you may know me also as Ann), and I live in Gainesville, Florida where I attend the University of Florida. I'm 20, but I'll be 21 on the 12th (one week!) and I'm a junior, who's somewhat majorless, so don't ask- I don't know what my major is, either, heh. I'm genetically female, and I still indentify as female, more or less, but mostly for the sake of ease, as I rather consider myself somewhat "in between," as I don't quite fit into either pigeonhole. If pressed, I'd probably say I consider myself mentally more male, but, in general, I'm happy identifying myself as "neither." Doesn't work so well in real-world practice, though, as I'm sure many of you are aware. I've been wearing markedly male clothes about half the time for a few years now, and using "male" things as often as I can because I feel more comfortable with them, but my mother keep telling me I'm going to turn into a lesbian if I don't stop using them (oh, Mom, if only you knew!), so I've had some opposition, but I live alone now, so I'm becoming more comfortable with who I am and settling somewhere in the middle.

Gender aside, I'm a huge geek (World of Darkness, anyone? Magic? Munchkin?) and I've played clarinet for 10 years (in the band at UF, going to the SEC Championships in Atlanta with the football team on December 2!), I work at Universal Studios seasonally (mainly summer and Christmas-time), and I'm exceedingly random. I also have an obsession with showtunes and Broadway musicals. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask in comments or contact me (all necessary info on my profile) and I'll be happy to answer! I like finding new people to talk to. Oh, and feel free to add me, just let me know who you are and where you find me, because I get paranoid otherwise.

So, in conclusion... hi! *waves* Happy to be here.
