transI attended a memorial on Monday on Transgender Day of Remembrance. It was my first time and I was moved by it. The senseless killings are, for the most part, all because we choose to be ourselves. It has strengthened my resolve to be more involved with trans issues. It has deepened my love for my brothers and sisters.
