First Day of T!

transI started transitioning today! Yep, really!
So here's what I'm taking so far:
1) Estrofem (Estradiol)- 4mg/day (2mg - 2mg)
2) Virospiron (Spironolactone)- 200mg/day (100mg - 100mg)
3) Proscar (Finasteride)- 5mg/day
I will have medroxyprogesterone acetate added to this next month (I'm really excited as I'll turn 21 on the 25th of Jan '07- my first transitioning month!). The idea is not to shock my system- thus, the low dose (4mg) of Estrofem. Estrofem dosage will be gradually increased over the next couple of months.
I finally mustered up the courage to weigh myself. I'm 257.4 lbs now! The last time I checked, I was like 275.0lbs! Fun, huh?
Before taking my first dose, I meditated and tuned into my body to work with my DNA and tuned into the medication too. Right after taking the hormones, I felt this sensation in my brain- almost as if it was being re-wired. Felt a little 'light' and 'empty'- almost as if I didn't weight anything!
Taking this opportunity to wish you all a 'Merry Christmas' and a 'Happy New Year'!
