transDoes anyone know when the DSM is going to be revised again?
And what are the realistic chances that being trans will be taken off the register of "mental illnesses"?
I just recently got into another conversation with someone who essentially argued "The DSM says you're mentally ill, and they outrank you." I know there are a lot of problems to how exactly transness will be classified if it's not under the "psychiatric" umbrella, but I'm fucking sick of this, there has to be something better.
