Everyone of us
Knew what was going on,
And we all knew
How unfair it is.
But the large part of the group
Were too afraid to speak,
And the abuse and hiding
Just went on unnoticed.

So thank you for being so brave,
Thank you for telling everyone
How we really felt, and
What we were going through.
And now everything has changed,
We can live freely,
In a world of understanding,
All because of people like you.

After the new understanding,
We now live a new life of openness,
Free to be ourselves,
And pursue the things we want to.
With the unfairness gone,
And the truth finally out,
Now the large part of the group
Are just beginning to tell the story of,
All the abuse and hiding
Just went on unnoticed.
