an etiquette question

I crossposted this to another community:

My sister is very butch looking and is a drag king. She is also asian. She has been a member of a gym for almost 15 years. When she goes into the women's changing room, almost every day a new woman member would come up and say, "EXCUSE ME! DO YOU KNOW THIS IS A WOMAN'S DRESSING ROOM!?"


I will refrain from my opinion on the matter, as I like to hear what ftm and transgender people have to say about this.
